When I was in Liverpool a while ago, I had immediately spotted the Party Exclusives in the new Liverpool store. They were hanging on the wall, but they’re not for sale. The only way to get them is to book a party at any UK Lush store. Now I do party with Lush every day in the shower, but for this I would need at least 8 people, and I just don’t have that many friends 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ I left the store that day with a LOT of products, which I was veryyy happy with, but somehow I was still bit sad that these nice exclusives weren’t for sale…

Until two weeks ago! On Instagram I saw someone posting that they’re now temporarily for sale in the UK webshop. I didn’t know how FAST I had to grab the creditcard upstairs (I tell you, I ran faster than Usain Bolt ever could) and tossed in some party exclusives into my shopping basket. After a long wait, almost two weeks later they finally arrived. I got three of the Crash jellies, one Cilla the Caterpillar Bath Bomb and two Calm A Llama Party Piñata Bath Bombs. And today, you can read all about the last one.

A hair conditioner that smells like Rose Jam? Sign me up. Although I’m starting to dislike the scent thanks to my -very strong and overpowering- Rose Jam body spray, I still wanted to give Valkyrie a chance. It’s good for chemically damaged hair, and since I haven’t seen my own hair color since the age of 13, you can imagine how often I dye my hair. Many, maaany times. Time to throw some Valkyrie at it. Singing to the melody of Valerie by Amy Winehouse, I took this conditioner with me to the shower. Why don’t you come on over, Valkyrieeeehieeeieee ♫♫

The fact that I didn’t pick up Karma Yantra right away is actually very special. I LOVE the Karma scent, but I still chose other bath bombs from the Harajuku range. Perhaps because I love discovering new scents, and of course I already knew how Karma Yantra would smell. Nevertheless, I am very happy that I bought it last week, because it doesn’t just smell amazing like I expected, it’s also amazing in the tub. But I won’t spoil the rest for you, you’re just gonna have to read the rest of the blog post.

When I’m looking for bath bombs to review, I always look at the scent description. I’m not difficult with scents, but spicy scents are not really my cup of tea. Still somehow Magma ended up in my shopping basket — must be because of the lovely colors, I’m always drawn to pink. Because there was some demand for this bath bomb, I decided to just go ahead and try it out.

Yes, you read that right. Transforming a bath bomb into a shower gel really is possible. And it’s super easy. Why would you do this? Well, you might have a bath bomb laying around that you once received as a gift, and you can’t do anything with it, because you don’t have a bath (anymore). In that case, a DIY like this is fun to do. So if you still have a bath bomb somewhere that you ever got before Christmas from an aunt, grab it because this experiment is too fun not to try. Today I’ll show you how you do it!

Despite the fact that The Comforter scent and I are not and will never be friends, I still bought the bath bomb. There was a high demand for a review on this bath bomb, and even though I don’t like the scent, its pink appearance did appeal to me. So, I decided to be brave and just buy it. Yes, the horrific things I do for you guys. If this isn’t love, then what is?

Since I had tried Carrot Shower Oil, I knew from that moment that I wanted more. Fortunately for me, Lush Liverpool had some in their range, including this Argan Dragon. A naked product, so no packaging, that hydrates and scrubs the skin — no bodylotion needed afterwards. In contrast to Carrot, this on has a scrub in the middle, made of poppy seeds. All the more reason to test it. And today that’s exactly what I’m going to do.

If a bath oil looks this cute, I actually don’t even care how it smells. And I’ll be honest — I wouldn’t have bought it if it wasn’t for its cute design, because it shares its scent with The Comforter, a scent that I’m not keen on. But after having tested 27 Harajuku bath bombs, I thought it was time to get this horse out of the barn. It’s actually one of my first bath oils to demo (can you imagine?!) so I was very excited.

A jelly that is pink AND smells fruity? I tossed in my shopping basket before I could even smell it properly. I was already very enthusiastic about Bongo, but I was also eager to try Conga. I’m very disappointed that these jellies are not available in other stores, or why can’t Lush just sell them in the Lush Labs? (Edit: I’ve just been told that Bongo will be for sale in the Lush Labs next Tuesday!) I say, let’s start a petition, because you’ll want this jelly after reading this review.

Last week my best friend surprised me with this giant bath bomb from Lush. And guess what: this bath bomb was the one on top of my wishlist. Despite the price, I wanted to purchase it so badly, so you can imagine how happy I was with this sweet gift. The same afternoon that I got it, I took some photos of it (tbh more than 100 photos or so) so that I could immediately take a bath with it. Soaking in a sea of rose petals and surrounded by the scent of Rose Jam — what more could you want?
