You might recognize this bath bomb from my review two weeks ago, but in pink. Lush released three colors of this flower-like bath bomb, with each their own different ingredients, scents and of course colors. Today I’ll be reviewing Chamomile, the blue version!

What is it?

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Roman Chamomile Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Styrax Resinoid, Titanium Dioxide, Water (Aqua), Propylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, *Limonene, Perfume, Colour 42090:2, Colour 42090, Colour 47005:1

Lush Blooming Beautiful Chamomile Bath Bomb costs £5.50 and is part of the Mother’s Day range. This bath bomb contains chamomile (hence the name) and lemon oil. It doesn’t share its scent with any other product, and it’s a pretty simple scent. The lemon is well-balanced with the chamomile, making the scent neither citrusy nor herbaceous. It’s not a scent that’s well present, it’s a very subtle mix of fruit and something floral. I’m really having a hard time describing this scent, since it’s so subtle. Scents by Lush can be very overpowering, but this one definitely isn’t. It does have the prettiest shade of blue, so I’m curious to see how it will turn out in the water!

What do I think?

Blooming Beautiful Chamomile doesn’t really provide us with an artsy show, but instead is a violent spinner. After it hits the water, it starts spewing out streams of blue, white and yellow foam. The water gradually turns a gorgeous shade of blue, like I hoped it would! For about 15 minutes the bath bomb spins and floats, while releasing notes of chamomile and fruity lemons. The foam made the water feel very soft, as did my skin afterwards!

Despite the lack of bath art, the water turned out beautiful. The scent was very subtle, so for mom’s who don’t like really strong scents, this bath bomb would make a wonderful gift. I had a relaxing bath session and I’m curious about the last one of the Blooming Beautiful trio!

If you have a positive (or negative) experience with this product, feel free to share them in the comments!

Lush Blooming Beautiful Chamomile Bath Bomb costs £5.50 (England) and is yet to launch in other parts of the world.
