If there’s one thing I like about Mother’s Day at Lush, it’s the bath products. They always come up with the cutest bath bombs! When I ordered products from the Mother’s Day range (which will launch March 24 for other parts of the world) I had to grab myself every Blooming Beautiful bath bomb (there are 3) from the webshop. They all share the same design, and partially the name as well, but today I’m kicking off with reviewing the pink one: Orange Blossom.

What is it?

Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cornstarch, Perfume, Sweet Wild Orange Oil, Lime Oil, Orange Flower Absolute, Titanium Dioxide, Water (Aqua), Propylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Sodium Coco Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, *Citral, *Citronellol, *Geraniol, *Limonene, *Linalool, Colour 14700, Colour 45410:1, Colour 47005:1

Lush Blooming Beautiful Orange Blossom Bath Bomb costs £5.50 (185g) and is part of the Mother’s Day range. Upon first glance at the ingredients list, I really wished the bath bomb would be a fruity scent, but that seems to be not the case. The scent to me is pretty “ordinary”, a mix of different bath bombs, like standing at the bath bombs section in a Lush shop. It’s a hint of fruit, but also a hint of floral due to the orange flower. It’s a good scent, but not one that stands out a lot. I like the design though–very simple but elegant.

What do I think?

As you might have noticed, I don’t have a lot of bath art photos! That’s because this bath bomb is a spinner. It just kept spinning and spinning, for more than 10 minutes. It was really a very boring show to watch, no hidden colors, no foamy layers on the surface, no surprises. But I guess not every bath bomb will provide us pretty bath art, and that’s okay. The water still ended up being a pretty shade of pinkish red, and the scent was noticeably present while soaking.

I don’t think I’d buy this bath bomb again, it was a little too average for me, but I still enjoyed it nonetheless. I’m curious about the two others—a blue and a yellow version of this bath bomb. I will be reviewing them very soon!

If you have a positive (or negative) experience with this product, feel free to share them in the comments!
