If there’s one thing I’m not wild about, it’s the Lush gift sets. Often they’re more expensive than the products individually, which is of course because of the box and packaging itself. But since I don’t really care for keeping the boxes or tins, I’d rather buying the products myself. But when I saw this gift set, containing 6 mini bath bombs, I knew I had to have it. I’m a sucker for cute designed bath bombs, so this hippopotamus bath bomb was the first one to enter my shopping basket while shopping for the new Christmas range. It’s again a bit smaller than the sizes we’re used to; all the more reasons to stock up this cutie. By the way, did you know that the word ‘hippopotamus’ comes from the Greek word for “water horse”? Mother’s Day: a lot of cute, cheerful products with great scents. Just like this Mamma Mia body scrub, which is new to the Mother’s Day range. Last year we’ve had the regular Mamma Mia scrub, but this year we’re being gifted a naked version. Because it’s pink, I had to grab one. Yes, just because it’s pink. Don’t judge me, k?!!

I’ve always had a dry skin, but my hands in particular are a disaster. Especially this time of the year, when it’s still heckin’ cold outside. Also, with the whole Coronavirus going on in our world, it’s essential that we keeps our hands clean by washing them more often. This morning a huge parcel was delivered to my house. It contained the new bubble bars from the Harajuku range! I ordered 12 to review for you guys, and while I’m working hard on writing those blog posts, I wanted to share my initial thoughts on them first. Unfortunately, we can’t order from Lush The Netherlands anymore. Just like Lush UK, it’s going to take about 3 weeks before they’re reopening again. Meaning that no one can buy the new bubble bars till then.. what an awful timing! I hope today’s blog post will cheer you up a little, and that it will give an impression of each bubble bar.

As expected, a part of the Harajuku exclusive bubble bars was launched last week in the Dutch webshop. I immediately bought a bunch of ’em to review for y’all, but I also got my hands this bubble bar — I got it as a gift from the sweet Kevin!! 🥰 I’m incredibly happy with it, because even though Mrs Whippy will be coming to the rest of the world on June 26, as a huge Candy Rain fan I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this retro bubble bar.
