Although it sometimes bums me out if Lush discontinues some of their Christmas products #BringBackHotToddy), I’m also happy that new products are being released. Nothing is as fun as testing out new Lush products. Cheery Christmas made its entrance this year. With its bright pink color, hexagonal prism-shaped and beautiful snowflake carved into the top, it immediately caught my attention. Besides, it’s pink. That alone is reason to buy it.

(This article was originally written in 2015 in Dutch and has been translated and rewritten in 2019. Unfortunately, Frozen has been discontinued in 2017.)

Not only Intergalactic was one of the new bath bombs that Lush made lately, Frozen has also recently been added. This bright, blue bath bomb reminds me of ice queens, cold weather and.. the movie Frozen, of course. Lush describes this bath bomb “a magical bath experience”, because of the beautiful colors. Well, let’s put that to the test.

Nope, that’s not a typing error in the title. This naughty bubble bar is inspired by the song Open Your Heart by Madonna. If you separate the two halves, it looks like Madonna’s iconic pointy bra. How cheeky of Lush. Since this bubble bra shares its scent with the mouthwatering Golden Pear scent family, I had to have it. If you’re curious about this bubble bra, keep on reading!

If you’re a crazy Lushie like I am, then you need every product from your favorite scent. Right? Rose Jam is one of my favorite scents, so it made completely sense that I bought this naked body conditioner. Even though I never use the naked products in the shower 🤷‍♀️ I just needed to have it. Also because it was on sale. Well if that’s not reason enough to buy it, then what is?

Even though it’s not for sale at the moment, I still wanted to share my thought on this product.

Do you need a little cheering up? Then I recommend this wonderful bath bomb from Lush! This really is my favorite bath bomb when it comes to fresh, citrus scents. It is literally Lemony Flutter in an bath bomb version. And seeing as the weather isn’t all that, I was ready for a nice, warm and refreshing bath. Bring that sunshine into the bathroom!

When I saw that Lush now has shower bombs, I wasn’t very enthusiastic. (People around me know that this is a fairly rare phenomenon) I once had something that looked like it, you had to put it on the shower floor and turn on the tap. That product was more like a fragrance diffuser. I thought Sleepy Shower Bomb would be something like that, until I came acrossJessica’s blog at which I read that this is something completely different. You can wash yourself with these shower bombs! What I had at that time, turned out to be an Emotibomb. Could’ve fooled me.

Just when you think you’ve saw it all, Lush decides to create a bath bomb shaped like an aubergine. An aubergine, guys. Let that sink in. Of course its based on the ambiguous aubergine emoji (admit it, you’ve also used this emoji for non-food related things), which is the theme of the Valentine’s Day range this year. I just knew I had to try this one out. In the tub, that is. Yes lovely people, there’s people out there using this bath bomb for other purposes than bathing.

The Olive Branch shower gel is a product that has been in the Lush main collection for a while now. I have already bought this product several times now, due to the mere fact that I’m in love with the scent. When I saw that there is a bath bomb with this scent, I ordered it right away. I mean, what kind of monster do you have to be to let this one slide? If you’re curious, read on.

I had already ordered from the Valentine’s Day range, when I read somewhere that these two bubble bars share their scent with Yog Nog. And even though I wasn’t too keen on the price of these two, I knew that I HAD to order these. So, order #2 happened. I felt a bit guilty though, but that feeling of guilt quickly dissapeared when the bubble bars arrived. They smelt better than I could imagine. I’ve been smelling them for about 2,5 hours before I was able to put them down. Okay, maybe that’s a bit exaggerated. Or is it? Anyway, keep on reading if you want to know all about these twins.

When I saw that this pink shower gel called American Cream was part of the Valentine’s Day range, I didn’t have to think twice — I need this in my life! I mean, check out that color. It could be smelling like a turd sprinkled with curry powder and I’d STILL buy it. Fortunately for me, it has the same delicious scent that American Cream hair conditioner does, and since I’m in love with that product, it didn’t take long before my order was delivered.

Curious about how I like it? Then keep on reading!
